This Indigenous-led project has strengthened place-based responses to environmental change through intergenerational and intercultural knowledge sharing of caring for Country in Gumbaynggirr-led ways. Through research events and workshops the project has brought Gumbaynggirr and non-Gumbaynggirr natural resource management practitioners into ceremony, deep learning and connection with Country, led-by Gumbaynggirr knowledge holders. As a result, the project has made significant advances in understanding how more-than-human actors, including Country itself, can lead and support human responses to environmental change.
