The Royal Flying Doctor Service Public Health research Unit has partnered with the Australian National University and other organisations to improve the health and wellbeing of rural and remote Australians. Indigenous Australians form a significant proportion of rural and remote community members compared to the national average, and so these projects have a particular importance in ensuring their health and wellbeing in their interactions with the RFDS.
