A multi-disciplinary team of UOW researchers worked with local Indigenous leaders to identify community research priorities and develop a baseline profile of Aboriginal health, social determinants and service delivery within the Illawarra. Community leaders requested further research to document and promote a better understanding of how strong resilient Indigenous organisations contribute to community wellbeing.
