Strong & Deadly Futures program and trial

A cluster randomised controlled trial of an online school-based alcohol and drug prevention program co-developed with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

Strong & Deadly Futures is a culturally inclusive and curriculum-aligned wellbeing program based on the OurFutures storyboard format. The program was co-designed with Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal students and their teachers. It takes an empowering, strengths-based approach to health and wellbeing promotion, with regional adaptations available to reflect culturally and geographically diverse classrooms.

Strong & Deadly Futures is currently being trialled in schools nationally.

Funded by NHMRC and the Australian Government Department of Health.
